I plan on operating a website which offers services similar to Imageshack’s torrent drive, with support for local and remote URL file uploads, image album, and an email service, and I’m searching for information which will allow me to set this up. I’m not very familiar with developing web pages, especially featuring free and subscription based services, so a website or comprehensive web building software (Free or shareware, doesn’t matter) would be immensely appreciated.

Also, since I’ll be offering subscription services, I need to find a website host which is very secure, or supports what I need to secure it, and allows perferably cheap promotion within search engines. Maybe something along the lines of hostmonster.com or Godaddy.com .

Does anyone have any ideas?

I need to do some SEO by article submission way. I want to publish some articles with an anchor text which would be the name of my site but many free site doesn’t allow to have the site’s name in the anchor text. So how can i do this? I need to upgrade my site in google search engine with article submission way so that my site name becomes popular and i can uplift my position!

I have had plans for the past 6 years to start a major online auction website (as in as major as eBay). Does anyone have a list of things that are required to run such a big website (e.g. security, promotions, headquarters, legal stuff, software, hardware, computer stuff, etc.)? I have looked up stuff and bought a whole bunch of stuff and it did not help. My online auction website will have more catagories, choices, things, and other better stuff than eBay (I have yet to come up with a name for my online auction website as all 45 names that I have come up with have been taken). Also, the price that you would have to pay on my site would be only 35 cents (compared to eBay’s 35 cents to place your item on eBay and the 15 cents for additional pictures and more money for more features which is rediculous for people to pay). Could someone please help me and give me ideas and things that I need to even begin and continue to run such a huge online auction website possibly bigger than eBay????
